Friends and the Bitch

I stated in a previous post that many people see a DIVA as a bitch and what many define that as amuses me. Do DIVA's have girlfriends? Well we have encountered many women in out lives but few are genuine enough to consider a true rider, but a woman who is there for everything, critical when necessary and empowered to do her own thing. Oh I have been fooled trust me but when you become a true DIVASAURUS your eyes are opened to a lot more than pretty flowers and kind words. I started to watch more than talk and it ultimately revealed a lot to me regarding these friendships.

Lets take a so called friendship I have with someone and evaluate it. I will leave names out because less drama makes my day easier! Don't you agree? She has been my girl per se since day one and always around when things started to fall down but slowly as I became the tyrannosaurus rex she started to back away. Her support for me started to diminish. Whay was that I began to ask myself was it because my accomplishments forced her to look at her life? Did my popularity question who she really was? I certainly think that was the issue, but I played the part until she spilled the beans all by herself. And now I know for sure that she was never a true friend only a homegirl who liked drama and now that I am drama free she has disappeared in the wind!

Ok, I am one who tries to solve all things but this I don't get. Why don't women like other women? Comedians say it often but its really not a joking matter. In my professional journey I have meet wonderful women who to this day support everything I do no matter how outlandish it may seem. They are an exception and they are professional contacts so there is a difference, I would not call them when I need to cry right? RIGHT so I am talking about real friends you can call on where are they at?

Must I relay on professional women to support me all the time? I have to find a way to get these untrusting girlfriends to release the hate and be real.

And to be honest and not jump around I find it bad that even many young professional women cannot connect without fear of outshine. Me I am cool if you are doing great things YOU GO GIRL! SO AM I!!! You are not better nor are you trying to be what I am well at least you should not try because its impossible. I state it firmly that all women should empower one another it is our CIVIL DUTY.

What does falling in love mean to a DIVASAURUS?

Well it is not the most appealing picture when you think of love but it is to some extent what it means to me. Let's take the technical component of love. Dopamine a naturally occurring chemical that helps to cause feelings of pleasure in the brain and is the main cause for this love feeling and then it is a fact that higher amounts of serotonin leads to obession and lower amounts lead to depression. So it sort of explains why when you meet someone you are attracted to you get a lot of energy and you often think about this person, because the chemicals in your brain are overactive! No one can tell you different about this person they are your world or what many call thier SOUL MATE! All that considered don't let a little technical talk stop you from falling in love just know that it is not all that magical after all!

So where does that leave a me? I think at this point in my life I am grinding (working)too hard right now to let things like love slow me down and that leads back to the whole chemical reation thing. I have been in love two times and during both times I started to lose focus on few things not many but I did become distracted by the LOVE JONES. I have yet to find someone who understands what I do and actual has no problem with it. With time commitments to virtually everyone how can I commit to one person? I have tried; trust me and it didn't work either I needed much space or couldn't spend enough time with the person and it bothered them. Hey cool; I can deal with that because I cannot sit around worrying about the specifics! There was one point in one of my previous relationships that I found myself crying day and night because of a break-up!!! AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE... I say are you kidding me? Donald Trump says a broken heart should not stop business and he is right so I decided to wipe my tears and continue what I do.

Call me bitter but I determined I have no time for love and certainly no time for drama so I put it in the back burner. A DIVASAURUS is on a path to perfection with no drama no naysayers NOTHING.

That being said; me having love for my friends and family of course. Me fall in love again? Highly unlikely.

My definition of a DIVASAURUS..

This term means a lot more to me than pretty text or cool blog titles DIVASAURUS is a lifestyle to me and many other women out there who are not aware that they too are a DIVASAURUS. Many thought we were extinct but back by popular demand I bring you the true elements of her. Many view divas as a negative force not to be messed with, many of you may have gotten a glimpse of Naomi Campbell when I said diva, but its way more than that. A DIVASAURUS is not a woman who is bitchy or causes physical harm to others she is more of a element that many admire few try to cross her and she is ahead of the game not waiting for approval from anybody.

Many factors can make you a DIVASAURUS and if you answered "YES" to any of them then congratulations you may add this title to your resume!

1) Do you guard your reputation with your life?

2) Do you become insubordinate at times?

3) Do you enter ANY situation with boldness and determination?

4) Have you not yet mastered the ART OF TIMING?

5) Have you ever gotten away with something and felt GOOD about it?

6) Do you get up in the morning ready to take over?

If you are looking for a better example lets focus on Beyonce Knowles who I have identified as a DIVASAURUS. She doesn't care if you are tired of seeing her videos and countless magazines covers, does she? She walks around and knows you love her and tells you with a bright smile and fierce walk that she is here to stay. Determination to die for! AT such a young age she walked, danced and ran in those heels until she was a certified STAR. I once heard that people didn't think she could act but who cares?? I am sure she doesn't because as we speak she is wrapping up a new flick. Does she want to be accepted? YES! Does your hesitation to her new venture stop her ambition? NO!

And then that leads you to me Zanade, a DIVASAURUS not wanting to hear what negative things you have to say about her ventures or programs or articles she writes. She is respectful to some and strong willed to many. I was speaking to a old friend a week ago and he told me some things that would have discouraged me if I had not been a DIVASAURUS. But I let it roll of his tongue and onto the floor! So look to the traits of a DIVASAURUS like Beyonce, Josephine Baker, Tina Turner, Mariah Carey and many other women and watch me make my place in line with them.
